Sweet as Pie

The Valentine's Day window for Decades. I wanted to stay away form red - it's sometimes too harsh - and decided to go with ivory, pink, and burgundy. I wanted to outfit onlookers for their dates, but also suggest gifts in the display. A couple is ready for early evening cocktails (right) before turning in for the night in their gifts they got one another - luxurious pajamas! (left)

Some close ups:

Mindful Commerce

This is my window for Seven Planet. Their first window display of many more to come, I hope! I wanted to take the "road to a better planet" theme literally, and is seen in the map borders and hand painted signs (a result of craft night with friends at our place), showcasing the seven silos the business focuses on: Apparel, Energy, Health, Shelter, Food, Household, and Travel. Getting a message out there is sometimes hard with pictures, but with short, to-the-point statements, the three window display comes together to grab the attention of passersby.

Landing...

Flora has moved to a new location - complete with two new windows for me to fill. We wanted to conveya  feeling of landing in our new space. The paper airplanes are carrying the product (left window) to our new space where things are starting to come together (right window):

The Work Party

Decades Vintage Company 328 SW Stark Portland, OR

My first window for Decades. It shows Milo and I going to a party with friends in the 1960s. Aren't we just dashing?
